Technology plays a big part in most of our lives these days, but how do you make sure it actually improves your personal and professional life rather than distracts from it? Discover why a healthy relationship with technology is so important.
Follow few steps to make it easy:
1. Switch off all apps notification which is not useful or distracting your productivity.
2. Tools:
- Check daily or weekly from the Google app dashboard for your usage of apps.
- Subscribe to DND( Do not disturb SMS ) for marketing SMS.
- Using the DND app to control other notifications.
- Keeping useful productive Apps on your home screen. So that other apps will not distract you.
3. Sleep time using mobile:
- Avoid total usage of the internet, apps, calls during the night for better sleep, so that the next day will be productive and healthy.
- When necessary change mobile screen to grayscale or at least dim screen light.
- Keep or Charge your phone at a distance from your bed.
4. Device-free meeting:
In physical meetings make a rule to all that they will not use phones or other devices.
5. Different devices for work and another for personal life.
Will not touch personal mobile during office and office mobile during personal time.
6. Scheduling time for each app. Ex:
- I’ll be using or check emails whenever I am in the office.
- I’ll not use social media during office hours.
These minor changes can make major changes in your productivity and time for both physical or digital environments.
